On November 16th we celebrated the International Day for Tolerance. Our schools is currently implementing the project “EQUALITY - The CHARTER OF FUNDAMENTAL RIGHTS OF THE EUROPEAN UNION confirms: «Everyone is equal before the law» (Article 20) – ambition and realty in Germany, Iceland, Poland, Turkey and Estonia “.
The International Day for Tolerance is a special occasion to focus on deep reflection on acceptance and respect for other people regardless of their appearance, sexual orientation, race, age or religion.
Human rights and areas of discrimination are the topics that students of our school deal with every day. In the classes of ethics we talk about lots of complicated but very interesting topics related to our life. Our discussions are often focused on commonly known moral issues. This type of talks are very important to understand that each of us is special and we all are representing our unique personal image.
